It’s been a little while since I’ve posted on my blog. Mostly because my life is full at the moment – work and life changes are taking up pretty much my whole waking moments. I’ll be detailing all of these changes really soon, because I think you’ll find my story quite interesting. Look forward to writing about it.
The last eight weeks have been full-on for work as well. I’ve been shooting a lot of weddings, and a lot of mountain biking. Seems I’ve headed back to my roots! Australian MTB is an amazing magazine run my ACP Mags and I’ve been working with two of the best editors in the business Chris and Mick. I’m stoked to get back to the trails where I get my nature hit. Been really lucky to start shooting quite regularly for them, and you’ll see a cover of mine on the stands in the next couple of weeks. I’ll pop that cover up here really soon.
As for weddings – I think I’m becoming more and more addicted to shooting them. I love the long hours and the creativity you can use while joining one of the most special days in two people’s lives. The last month I have shot four in four weeks, which is quite a workload on top of my normal shooting days … but I’m revelling in it. I’m finding my style, and shooting it to bits. I’m starting another blog (designed by Mark Egan again) which will give you more of an in-depth look into my wedding photography, and I’m really happy to announce I’ll be opening my books a lot more for wedding photography in the coming seasons. I’ve found a nice balance in life now, and I’m excited about the future with my documentary styled weddings.
Just to finish off, here’s something I saw the other day, and it certainly hit the mark. It’s amazing and should be spread round the web like wildfire. I love inspiring videos and this is certainly one I’ll watch over and over.
Cheers and I’ll see you on here again really soon.
